How To Get Secure The Right Golf Course Rates, And Save Money On Them

Golf course rates vary enormously, which is only what you would expect given the extreme popularity of some of the most famous championship courses, and the drive to popularize sport in deprived areas. Obviously, the popular course is going to charge a market rate, which will be set far higher than that of a state run course, while the public course which is also publicly owned is going to be offering discounted or even subsidized rates for people who would not otherwise have access to golf.

It is best to work out your entire itinerary in advance, because some courses will be busier than others, especially at certain times of year. Advance planning helps you secure the tee times you are looking for. If you can visit the most popular courses of all during a period outside the main summer season, that will also help, although the great courses are busy all year round.
